Tits Deep for Breast Cancer is a nonprofit organization that supports young women seeking breast cancer treatment by advocating, educating, providing outreach, and financial support for detecting early signs of breast cancer. They do this through selling custom merchandise at sponsored outdoor events, mountain biking and snowboarding meetups, outdoor festivals, and more.
What started as a custom pattern for a line of mountain biking gloves evolved into a full line of designs for mountain biking t shirts, sweatshirts, snowboarding mittens, beanies, and more; featured by select REI stores, Party Shirt USA, and HandUp Gloves.
Custom Pattern & Glove Design
Tits Deep wanted a custom, icon-based pattern and mountain biking glove design for a seasonal mountain biking glove drop. They wanted it to reflect the beauty of the Mountain West in the summer with some kind of subtle homage to their cause. We landed on rattlesnakes, cacti, shrubs, and a flower pairing that hints at what Tits Deep is all about. I used these icons to create a seamless repeat pattern in Illustrator.
