The Challenge
Create seamless repeat glove and apparel designs as well as custom apparel graphics while staying print-ready and cohesive across products. The designs needed to feel authentic to the women’s mountain biking + ski community.
The Goal
Build a flexible apparel system that fits the outdoor niche and performs well in production while helping the nonprofit raise funds at women-focused ski and MTB events.
My Approach
I designed 3 icon-based seamless repeat patterns for MTB and ski gloves as well as an entire line of t shirt, hat, and sweatshirt graphics for this brand. The visuals balance bold energy with print constraints, creating a recognizable look that translates cleanly across gloves, shirts, and event merch.
Custom Pattern & Glove Design
Tits Deep wanted a custom, icon-based pattern and mountain biking glove design for a seasonal mountain biking glove drop. They wanted it to reflect the beauty of the Mountain West in the summer with some kind of subtle homage to their cause. We landed on rattlesnakes, cacti, shrubs, and a flower pairing that hints at what Tits Deep is all about. I used these icons to create a seamless repeat pattern in Illustrator.

2 additional glove designs, a custom watercolor seamless repeat pattern for Party Shirt USA, and a multitude of t shirt and sweatshirt designs later, Tits Deep for Breast Cancer has a full line for every season and is now also starting a surf division of their nonprofit work.
